We have to return to the history in the mists of ancient history that the impregnable city of Babylon was conquered by the Commanding General of the Persian Shah Cyrus’ forces, Gobryas the Chief of the Gutians, one of the kings of the Tribe of Gad. It was he and his Israelite forces from the Tribe of the Pasargadaes, who became the Commanding General of the Persian Shah Cyrus’ forces who diverted the River Euphrates and lowered the water below the gates so that the military forces of Persia were able to take the entire city without spilling one drop of Jewish blood.

The Pasargadae family members plus the Gutians or Gadites were all parts of the Gothic people who once lived the “other side of the Jordan”. The Gadites also lived with the Tribe of Reuben and the largest half of the Tribe of Manasseh. They were the first of the tribes of Israel to be taken into exile by the Assyrians and taken to the land of Khurasan to the east. They returned about 150 years later to the impregnable city of Babylon as the “destroyers of Babylon” and the “Redeemers” of the Jews of Babylon.

The historical facts do exist that the Persian Shah, Cyrus the Great, was a “Lost Israelite” of the tribe of Pasargadae (“Sons of Gad) as well as his general, Gobryas from the Tribe of Gad. This gives us new insight in why the G-d of Israel knew Cyrus from before the day of his birth.

Isaiah 44:28-45-1,3-4 (parts) – “Why says of Cyrus, ‘He is My shepherd, and he shall perform all My pleasure...Thus says the L-rd to His anointed, ‘To Cyrus, whose right hand I have held – to subdue nations before him…That you may know that I the L-rd who call you by your name, am the G-d of Israel. For Jacob My servant’s sake, and Israel My elect, I have even called you by your name; I have named you, though you have not known Me.” [More/source (http://destination-yisrael.biblesearchers.com/destination-yisrael/2011/06/the-legacy-of-the-visigoths-and-the-vandals-upon-protestant-christianity.html)]
