Gay ‘Marriage’ and the Revenge of the Gnostics

Following the 2003 publication of Dan Brown’s publishing phenomenon, The Da Vinci Code, there has been a renaissance of interest in the ancient heresy of Gnosticism. This ancient heresy has exerted its tentacles deep into the fabric of contemporary life, even influencing the church in many unhelpful ways. (To read about some of the ways that Gnostic ideas have infiltrated the church, see my article, ‘Eight Gnostic Myths You May Have Imbibed’.)

At the heart of the Gnostic heresy was the notion that the material world is bad. If the fundamental antithesis for Christianity was between good and evil, for the Gnostics the fundamental antithesis was between the physical and the spiritual. The material world is bad, they argued, precisely because it is physical. True spirituality involves escape from this world. Whereas the Christian tradition taught that redemption history culminates in the resurrection of the body, Gnostics believed that the goal of salvation was eternal disembodiment.

This is the view found in The Gospel of Thomas, which the ancient Gnostics held up as being an alternative to the canonical accounts of Christ. As I wrote in an article for the Colson Center titled ‘Resurrection and the Sanctification of Matter’. Because of their anti-creational orientation, many Gnostics them taught that sexuality is at the heart of our fallen condition. Being immersed in the material world has given rise to the unfortunate reality of sexual differentiation, and the existence of beings that are capable of uniting sexually. In the Gnostic utopia, however, the gender polarity will be obliterated, as women migrate into a condition of masculinity. Thus in verse 114 of The Gospel of Thomas, we read,

There is more than mere misogyny going on in the idea that “Every woman who will make herself male will enter the Kingdom of Heaven.” For the world-hating Gnostics, the very idea of there being two sexes was anathema. Many Gnostics attempted to achieve a unisex society this side of paradise, teaching an ideal of asceticism that saw celibacy as the only truly spiritual option.

Unfortunately, Gnostic pessimism about sex influenced many of the church fathers, who imported into the Christian faith Platonic and Stoic notions concerning the body. The first-century Stoic Seneca expressed the mood well when he declared...

The idea here seems to be that the body holds the soul back from perfect knowledge, so that the philosophers’ task is to disengage himself as much as possible from the trappings of the physical body.

Given the fact that many of the church fathers were deeply influenced by Platonism, it is not surprising to find early Christian teachers imbibing a Platonic and Gnostic view of the body. Saint Jerome (c. 347 –420) reflected Gnostic assumptions when he taught that the more we love God, the less we will have leftover for human affection.

Jerome was not alone. Saint Augustine of Hippo (354–430) also reflected gnostic and neo-Platonic ideas about the body, arguing that sexuality only came about after, and because of, Adam’s fall. {Remember Augustine's connection to Manichaenism and Mani's potential links to Mohammed.}

Despite the legacy of the church fathers, as well as the fact that a Gnostic devaluing of human sexuality continued to crop up throughout the history of the medieval church, on the whole the Christian tradition has done a good job in proclaiming the goodness of the world and our experiences in it, including the experience of marriage. The Roman Catholic church and the Eastern Orthodox church have even gone so far as to consider marriage a sacrament.

The Bible itself puts an especially high valuation on marriage. The material world was proclaimed good by God (Gen 1:31), and the marriage bed is particularly honourable (Heb 13:4). We glorify God not by denying our God-given sexual desires, like some in Paul’s day were teaching (1 Timothy 4:3), but by fulfilling those desires in honourable marriage. Marriage is thus the ultimate anti-Gnostic statement, in so far as it proclaims that the material world is good, and that we can glorify God by enjoying the good things in the world that He has given us, such as sex. Thus, the Bible puts a premium on the importance of frequent sex in marriage (1 Cor. 7:5; Proverbs 5:19), and even uses the one-flesh relationship between husband and wife as a type of the love between Christ and the church (Eph. 5:22-33).

Clearly, the Gay Agenda is and has been about proliferation of a religion. The Gospel of Thomas is in total contradiction to the equality between genders among the Essenes. The hatred or disdain for women and the material reality is contrary to the book of Genesis/Sepher Bereshit:

It all seems to be about destroying a man's right to practice sexual purity, to have control and determination over his children or to have any wife be held to her responsibilities. To have a social institution that promotes the headship of men over their families, that promotes the family as an institution or organization that is a government itself is what they are against. In other words, they are against the idea of man being made in the likeness or image of God.

The heretical Gnostic disdain for the physical realm might tie interestingly into the notion of Nimdrodic worship of mother and baby-child. Take any given family. If there are problems, who is to blame as far as pop culture goes? The dad? "Its your fault dad" or "I'm here because of you so its your responsibility to give me all that I want". Who wants to one believe MOM ever lies or plays tricks with birth control or lies about being infertile or date rapes a man--or that wife's or gf's dad sets out to use his daughters to snooker or control other men (to gather $$$ and goodies)? Ever wonder why judges and the State might ever have been so eager to allow MOTHER to run off with CHILD? Ever notice how in those pictures the mom and child are all by themselves in the photos and dad is nowhere to be seen? Kind've like like Hagar and Ishmael sent off by themselves away from Abraham and Sarah? Maybe the deem the DAD to be a "demiurge" of some kind? So maybe the reason they deny or refuse to admit to the maternal aspects of fatherhood (i.e. that men have a maternal and loving nature) is because they have a religion that paints the FATHER to be cold/harsh (i.e. their minds are blinded to all else): but then if their religion shapes their world-view, that would explain why they'd do the things they'd do, wouldn't it?

Are you a good dad? Did you slave for MOTHER and CHILD(REN) this year enough to buy all the gadgets and trinkets you see? Or did they have to lock you up and put you in jail for failure to perform your CHILD SUPPORT (MOTHER and CHILD worship) duties!?

In the Bible, marriage is a covenant relationship. Licenses weren't required AFAIK. The licensing of marriage was something instituted in 1500s by Roman Catholic organizations to knowledge. It may have existed in other ancient societies.

Using the same tactics used by “gay” rights activists, pedophiles have begun to seek similar status arguing their desire for children is a sexual orientation no different than heterosexual or homosexuals.
Critics of the homosexual lifestyle have long claimed that once it became acceptable to identify homosexuality as simply an “alternative lifestyle” or sexual orientation, logically nothing would be off limits. “Gay” advocates have taken offense at such a position insisting this would never happen. However, psychiatrists are now beginning to advocate redefining pedophilia in the same way homosexuality was redefined several years ago.
In 1973 the American Psychiatric Association declassified homosexuality from its list of mental disorders. A group of psychiatrists with B4U-Act recently held a symposium proposing a new definition of pedophilia in the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Health Disorders of the APA.
B4U-Act calls pedophiles “minor-attracted people.” The organization’s website states its purpose is to, “help mental health professionals learn more about attraction to minors and to consider the effects of stereotyping, stigma and fear.”
In 1998 The APA issued a report claiming “that the ‘negative potential’ of adult sex with children was ‘overstated’ and that ‘the vast majority of both men and women reported no negative sexual effects from childhood sexual abuse experiences.”
Pedophilia has already been granted protected status by the Federal Government. The Matthew Shephard and James Byrd, Jr. Hate Crimes Prevention Act lists “sexual orientation” as a protected class; however, it does not define the term.
Republicans attempted to add an amendment specifying that “pedophilia is not covered as an orientation;” however, the amendment was defeated by Democrats. Rep. Alcee Hastings (D-Fl) stated that all alternative sexual lifestyles should be protected under the law. “This bill addresses our resolve to end violence based on prejudice and to guarantee that all Americans, regardless of race, color, religion, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, or disability or all of these ‘philias’ and fetishes and ‘isms’ that were put forward need not live in fear because of who they are. I urge my colleagues to vote in favor of this rule.”
The White House praised the bill saying, “At root, this isn’t just about our laws; this is about who we are as a people. This is about whether we value one another — whether we embrace our differences rather than allowing them to become a source of animus.”
Earlier this year two psychologists in Canada declared that pedophilia is a sexual orientation just like homosexuality or heterosexuality.
Van Gijseghem, psychologist and retired professor of the University of Montreal, told members of Parliament, “Pedophiles are not simply people who commit a small offense from time to time but rather are grappling with what is equivalent to a sexual orientation just like another individual may be grappling with heterosexuality or even homosexuality.”
He went on to say, “True pedophiles have an exclusive preference for children, which is the same as having a sexual orientation. You cannot change this person’s sexual orientation. He may, however, remain abstinent.”
When asked if he should be comparing pedophiles to homosexuals, Van Gijseghem replied, “If, for instance, you were living in a society where heterosexuality is proscribed or prohibited and you were told that you had to get therapy to change your sexual orientation, you would probably say that that is slightly crazy. In other words, you would not accept that at all. I use this analogy to say that, yes indeed, pedophiles do not change their sexual orientation.”
Dr. Quinsey, professor emeritus of psychology at Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario, agreed with Van Gijseghem. Quinsey said pedophiles’ sexual interests prefer children and, “There is no evidence that this sort of preference can be changed through treatment or through anything else.”
In July, 2010 Harvard health Publications said, “Pedophilia is a sexual orientation and unlikely to change. Treatment aims to enable someone to resist acting on his sexual urges.”
Linda Harvey, of Mission America, said the push for pedophiles to have equal rights will become more and more common as LGBT groups continue to assert themselves. “It’s all part of a plan to introduce sex to children at younger and younger ages; to convince them that normal friendship is actually a sexual attraction.”
Milton Diamond, a University of Hawaii professor and director of the Pacific Center for Sex and Society, stated that child pornography could be beneficial to society because, “Potential sex offenders use child pornography as a substitute for sex against children.”
Diamond is a distinguished lecturer for the Institute for the Advanced Study of Human Sexuality in San Francisco. The IASHS openly advocated for the repeal of the Revolutionary war ban on homosexuals serving in the military.
The IASHS lists, on its website, a list of “basic sexual rights” that includes “the right to engage in sexual acts or activities of any kind whatsoever, providing they do not involve nonconsensual acts, violence, constraint, coercion or fraud.” Another right is to, “be free of persecution, condemnation, discrimination, or societal intervention in private sexual behavior” and “the freedom of any sexual thought, fantasy or desire.” The organization also says that no one should be “disadvantaged because of age.”
Sex offender laws protecting children have been challenged in several states including California, Georgia and Iowa. Sex offenders claim the laws prohibiting them from living near schools or parks are unfair because it penalizes them for life.

Pedophilia as a mental disorder is pretty much sexual attraction to someone of the opposite gender who has yet reached puberty. If the object of the attraction has reached at least 12 or 13 years of age, then such attraction would no longer be pedophilia by definition. The reasoning for this is that there is a invisible communication between the genders to support sexual processes. Those signaling systems are lacking between people of the same gender. Once a 12 or 13 y/o girl starts ovulating, visible signals, pheromones and other non-visible signals start functioning (among the visible signals would be: breasts, hips, hair, etc.).

Scientific experiences were done that showed that male moths were attracted to female moths even when the female moths were sealed in containers. In other words, there are invisible radiations and communications that a man or female might respond to. The idea is that you would not be sexually attracted to someone that doesn't have the visible, chemical or radiant signals for sexual attraction--such as a little child or someone of the same gender. It is suggested that the genitals themselves are involved in the communication and testes even the sperm 'vibe' with a ready pair of ovaries or eggs. To knowledge, enunch and females that have hysterectomies (not widely published for medical $$$ reasons) lose sexual interests. Why? The non-visible signalling systems are no longer present. For the same reason, a 21 y/o man might not be sexually attracted to a woman who has reached menopause and has lost visible attractors (the super skinny woman fetish always struck me to be pedophilic subliminally because it pushes attraction to a rather underdeveloped pre-pubescent form...following that and more recently female models are starting to be selected for looking masculine).

In view of the non-male-male-buggery-related facts, the biological arguments for male-male homosexuality fail.

Lesbianism
Lesbianism as a practice is merely throwing off men altogether--even seeking sexual pleasure without men. However, but I'd say 90%+ of the so-called "lesbians" I've met periodically have in stealth sought sexual encounters after men on a periodic bases (has to do with bio-chemistry of female reproductive system being 'unhappy' unless it receives semen from time to time). Most of them evidenced 'bad experiences' with males. However, the so-called 'lesbians' that tend to be 'hard care' have reached menopause (this again proves the point that homosexuality is without support in biological process). The biggest pushers of feminism and lesbianism on your local campus are likely to be femmes who have reached menopause. Their recruits: mainly 17+ year old girls who are ovulating and whom they aim to put to task for pleasure seeking (i.e. turning the young, tender girls into sex objects using baseless psycho-political mumbo jumbo as bait). Their tactics: psychological. Enough said.

The eunuch and hysterectomy factors tend toward evidencing yet further the total lack of biological basis for male-male sexual attraction. Again natural affection, fondness or warm fuzzies among friends isn't sex.

Poop Attraction
There is a fetish called 'scat'. Perhaps there are those who would argue that those who have an affinity for such are 'sexually attracted' to feces.

Re: homosexuality and DSMV
Homosexuality was taken off the DSMV for political reasons such as the staff being bullied or being non-professional biased rather than for scientific reasons. Anyone that really understands sexuality's bio-spiritual mechanisms would see through much of the propaganda and lies. One isn't normally attracted to a little child because none of the signals are being put off to give rise to it (its worth noting that hormones in milk are changing the age-related timing for puberty in females ). Thusly a man isn't attracted to another man for bio-spiritual reasons (i.e. true sexual attraction is lacking) because sperm do not attract each other they compete with each other. Furthermore, who goes to a nightclub with poop scented cologne--normal people would be repelled by the smell. The biology-based arguments fall there. To wholly equate love with sexuality is of course part of yet another propaganda line. Men can love men without any sexual contact or connotation whatsoever. Sex and love are hardly synonymous.

Male-male homosexuality and female-female homosexuality
They are completely different for obvious bio-spiritual reasons. From observation, male homosexuals use "lesbians" as a propaganda shield to hide behind.

Re: Pedophilia and Pedastery
Perhaps they would view "gay person" with AIDs or some venereal disease spreading it to others even to little children would be "just who they are".

So is there such as thing as "pedophobia" along with "homophobia"? Ah there is a big difference between fear (phobia) and disgust.

Signs of A Degraded Society
A lot is said when a society's members on the whole equate the age for starring in a porn movie with the age of consent for marriage or sex--totally different things but I'd say more than 85% of the people I've interviewed don't see the distinction (i.e. their view is one where all sex is porn--which isn't a Biblical view at all) reflecting that they regard sexual activity and pornography to be synonmous and have the rather conceited habit of presuming "everyone" to be like they themselves. At the same time, one might be surprised how many folks attempt to equate marriage and sex but then when you point out how easy it might be to "get laid" without being married their arguments start breaking down PDQ.'

There are those who suggest that a man with more than one wife or desiring to have more than one wife "must be" a "sex maniac". But when the same man can get laid by a femme stranger he meets at a coffee shop within an hour of meeting, and then repeat again and again--marriage could not possibly be a sole motivation for sexual gratification. But yet "pedophiles" and "gays" are allegedly "normal". Doesn't add up.

History seems to show that what happens when societies start heading for destruction: [1] women start being loose and throw off all regard for anything but for their pleasure (family and kids become of little to zero concern); [2] societies given to homosexuality have been destroyed one way or another as if it was some kind of signal of some kind that all lawful government had been disposed of and so..then came the end.

Signs of A Degraded Society II: Economics of Pregnancy in the UK
In the UK, they say that even 13 y/o girls admit to getting pregnant young for ECONOMIC REASONS--i.e. how much money they can get. Regard for family or sanctity of life isn't even necessarily in the picture. If 13 y/o girls are that 'hip' to 'the game' how hip might their moms be?

The marriage of grown men to 8 or 9 y/os is allegedly promoted or suggested in the Koran.

The case that allegedly 'overturned' sodomy laws, is the same case that promotes the notion of marriage having nothing to do with sex...but yet in Maine and other states they used the same case to excuse teaching little children sexual fetishes. If it has nothing to do with sex, why are they using the case as an excuse to teach sexual fetishes to 5th graders in Maine?

The point though, isn't really to put down 'male homosexuals'. Its just, the arguments founded on fallacies are simply not founded on good foundations. Straight people should be allowed to be straight rather than be forced to accept someone else's sexual fetishes--because loving someone doesn't necessarily have anything to do with sex. Disgust is neither fear nor hatred. Besides, was any lawful government ever given authority to promote sexual fetishes?

My opinion:

If women are only giving their best (sexually) to 20% of the men, this will cause a good majority of the remainder to check out of society (going ghost, etc.)

Being said remainder have no stake in the society i.e. marriage; children; et al, why should they concern themselves with it?

Women being loose in their youth while attempting to change lanes as they age is about to come to an end, I believe.
