A makeshift camp of thousands from the Middle East, Asia and Africa has been dismantled at Budapest's Keleti train station, and its inhabitants have left for Germany. But the loathing of them lingers in Hungary, which hopes to build a border fence strong enough to keep out future waves of asylum seekers.

"We need the fence," said Istvan Szabo, a 43-year-old lathe operator having a beer at a bar next to the station, where hundreds seeking refuge in the European Union still line up daily to buy tickets to Western Europe.

Szabo, like many in this socially conservative land of 10 million, says he doesn't understand why they've come.

"If they couldn't solve their problems back where they live, why do they think they're going to be able to solve them here?" Szabo said.

By now we should be expecting to see our southern border getting flooded with illegals too, it's not a good situation at all.

Police from Austria’s Upper province say it has rescued 42 asylum seekers from a refrigerated truck near the border with Germany. Austrian authorities expect about 10,000 refugees to arrive from Hungary by the end of the day.

Five women and eight children were among the 42 refugees rescued from the Finnish-registered refrigerated truck used for transporting flowers, DPA news agency reported, citing police. The incident took place on the A8 highway at Aistersheim, about 30 kilometers from the German border.

Police report that none of the refugees had health problems or were in need of medical care. The smugglers, who turned out to be Iraqis, were arrested.

On August 27, Austrian police found 71 dead refugees in a tractor trailer in eastern Austria who had died from asphyxiation. Eight women and four children, including a girl aged one or two, died in that incident.

The adults that die breaking the law get no pity from me, but the poor children don't get a choice in the matter. What a tragedy that is :( If Western
governments really want to get a handle on the whole smuggling of illegals into Europe & the USA too, it's time for mandatory death penalties for
these greedy smuggler truckers that only care about getting their share of the $.
