So many contracting offers [officer]....so many acceptances [fotog]....who by the way has posted only this 1 vid 11 months ago ["EyeOnFremont"].
Then there's folks like "HonorYourOath" (https://www.youtube.com/user/HONORYOUROATH/videos), who do this constantly. What is the point in this antagonistic behavior? They're a bunch of US citizens open carrying cameras as bait in a police state -- how smart is that? ....clogging up bandwidth with terabytes of pseudo entertainment.
Best to go about your daily affairs in a normal fashion with one of these in your pocket (https://www.google.com/webhp?sourceid=chrome-instant&ion=1&espv=2&ie=UTF-8#q=pen%20camera), so that when a real encounter comes to pass, there's a record of what transpired.
You wanna burn off some useful youtube time, go visit the canuck donyboy73 (https://www.youtube.com/user/donyboy73/videos)....might actually be sumpin' useful there !!

Some of those "public photography" guys are annoying. In one instance, a guy was just standing around looking suspicious with a camera in front of the DEA office building. That just doesn't seem that bright or reasonably respectful--consider that many of those guys going in and out are under cover and wonder if you might be someone who is trying to blow their cover or put a hit out on them.
At the same time, the general paranoia in public is a bit silly.

Agree, both sides could've handled things better IMO.
