I always enjoyed this naming the disciple after his mother. But that is a nod to traditional cause and effect, something I am re-examining.
It is like there is only one woman in the world and her name is MAGDALENE.

So this also lends some credence to HEROD in the passage actually being one Archelaus HEROD. The taking of one MAGDALENE (braider) maiden and then hiding it as a disgrace to the throne, to get the young virgin pregnant.
