Thumbs up SUPREME COURT SUMMONS GOD - IMO his interpetation is wrong

The pastor can say what he pleases, but in a NON theocratic nation marriage is simply a contract between people
for agreed upon duties & how you're going to treat one another, financial obligations, etc...

If he's trying to convert people to the Abrahamic faith, he's going about it the wrong way. Besides Jesus
ate with "sinners", didn't judge anyone, & people should remember the parable of The Good Samaritan too.
It's not how pious you are, but how you treat your fellow man, that's what's most important in this life.

Corporations are said to be soulless. And in the Bible its written that God is the God of the living. Statutory marriage is actually an inferior and separate class of "marriage" than organic marriage --or perhaps moreso an imitation of lawful and organic marriage--which might be said to be more of an oath before God to maintain duties of holiness in purpose for the good of the husband, the wife, the children and the community. The statutory so-called marriage is a commercial contract with the State between persons. "Gay marriage" could only ever been statutory merger of estates. Massachusetts statutes were changed to refer to persons rather than to a man or a woman.

That a pastor who gets his license from the State or who gets ordained by the State or of a 501(c)(3) 'church' would be somehow confusing apples and onions and oranges wouldn't be surprising. The difference is greater than the difference between apples and oranges. The pastor's state license it seems would be a license to be a celebrant or to preside over "unions" of persons.

Well said & agreed! Every incorporated religion is in fact just another arm of government, TaxID# = An agency of the federal government.
