It must be remembered that the term United States also refers to a single federal state. There are at least 33 (up to 50) states of America which are independent and free and each has sovereign people in respect of each one of them. The failure of the Federal government or of the Federal state or of any state simply means reversion of power and prerogative to the states or to the people.

Just because one ship sinks doesn't doesn't stop the others from still floating. Illusionary Fantasia aims to have people thinking the sky to be falling everywhere just because its falling in one or two small locations.

Furthermore, if the government actors fail to do their jobs its called 'dereliction of duty' (a similar term is tacit resignation). When dereliction of duty is widespread enough that is the same situation as of there was a mass resigning (even if they show up to get their paychecks, its the same as if their organization dissolved). The false impression of warm bodies at desks even after the mass resignation can give the false impression that the organization is still 'in business'.

Consider that if everyone in your county resigned the fire department would you just let houses burn or would you form another fire department and put out the fires? The people of each state have the authority to direct their public officers. Consider, there are state governors, county sheriffs, county prosecutors, state attorneys general, federal judges and U.S. attorneys which can be public called out or appointed to conserve the peace. With respect to the several United states of America, there are by design many, many fallbacks and failover in case of a breakdown in operations: but you have to first realize this. It seems quite obvious that the people at all times have all of the authority than any public officer can have especially when the public officer resigns by tacit and especially when there is widespread tacit resignation or dereliction of duty.

P.S. The end of the United States is not the end of America. The states have their own governments, legislatures, etc.

Didn't the United States already dissolve into Homeland Security?

The Homeland Security Act is a statutory reorganization of federal law enforcement (federal law rather than organic state law). The widespread failure to grasp (or teach) the law of federations and confederacies is part of the problem among Americans. Under the Articles of Confederation a confederation called "The United States of America" was created and it is a singular state in and of itself. The term "the United States" can refer to a plurality or a singularity. The singularity isn't the plurality. The United States is a federal state itself. "is" is used for the singular and "are" is used for the plural. If someone says "the United States is bankrupt" a singular state is being referred to. Basic grammar.

If the United States government was "God all of America" how can Sanctuary Cities can exist? I mean its right in your faces folks. Why do you think New York can be so bold? Because it one of the original states. A talk with an in-the-know attorney of the Five Burroughs of New York would likely be enlightening.

Watching TV and believing hype over reality can be dangerous. Have you noticed that the paid-for, professional riots are in occurring where Democrats predominantly control governments?

    Yeah but what about TSA?
Airports terminal areas are basically UN-Treaty-Federal-Territory Zones. Most major airports are owned by Democrat-controlled major cities.

Yeah but what about government control of train travel?
Amtrak is owned by the Federal government.

Yeah but what about government control of GM?
The purchase of GM was heavily facilitated by private concerns but nonetheless it is or was owned by the Federal government.

Yeah but what about government spying on phones and the Internwebs?
The Internet is a child of DoD/DARPA. Telephone companies most all stem out of Federal legislative acts or are creatures of state subject to the legislative whimsy of the state. If you have enough money you can purchase private trunks between major cities or install your own cellular equipment on towers around major cities or even in rural areas (some have done that very thing in rural areas were 3G/4G service had been lacking).

Yeah but what about Executive Orders?
Most every governor of a state can issue executive orders. Did executive orders of the POTUS to raise minimum wages raise the minimum wage outside of the Federal zone? No. Why not? Because the president is chief executive (chief inspector general) over creatures of Congress not those of the several states.

Yeah but what about sheriffs and local police working with Homeland Security?
Maybe they volunteer to do so (for money)? Point: it doesn't make them wholly Federalized.
