This graphic might help tie things together between the dodecahedron and the buckyball.
When thinking of Fibonacci 5 and 13 are significant. 4 ratchets within a dodecahedron lead to the 5th being the next "octave" or dimension. The same with 12 ratchets leading to the 13th being the next "octave".
