So my presumptions are that she was work at home government employee doing data entry. Somebody was telling her to plug in different and larger inflated numbers than she was receiving and she kept at it accurately instead. The state complained and took her computer and phone under a warrant, flashing and pointing guns.
Data Scientist is a new one on me. Statistician, data entry tech, but Data Scientist? Seems like the writer was stretching a bit for dramatic effect. Of course the numbers are inflated. Fear has hijacked the minds of the mass. It is a shame that so few can wield such power over so many. One day the veil will be pulled back to reveal a weak man and then it shall be heard:

I had not spent the time watching the video.
It is much better explained by this "data scientist" a programmer for the state under plenty of non-disclosure paper, leaving a back door to discredit the state's management of the COVID-19 pandemic figures. She opened a parallel and unauthorized reporting website?If authorities are retaliating against Jones for criticizing the governor, this is indeed chilling.
What I see in the video is that the police officer is clearing the house as per traditional training. He looks up the stairway and sees nobody there. So he moves on into the living area. She is in the melodrama with the reporter and video camera and claims to see the officer pointing his pistol at her children. The officer pointed it at where he was looking in case he saw somebody pointing a weapon at himself.
She makes it out that they are after her children. I think this is what you might mean Marcel; what is being left out? She has a beef to pick with the state for laying her off.
