RV = Revaluation of the dinar

    Would somebody please explain plainly?

Let's pretend I have 1000 dinar in my hand... what next?

Each dinar has an associated amount of value.
That value has a certain level of purchasing power.

If more dinars are printed than goods and services for them, we have inflation.
Each dinar unit has less purchasing power.

Following the revaluation, the dinar you are holding should be worth at least $3220. The proposed method of repatriating the dinar and receiving USD in exchange is by wire transfer. Other options seem to be limited. It may be that it will not be possible to exchange dinar directly for precious metals, as many dinar holders had intended.

Thank you both! I got this report today. It seems odd that there is no mention of the dinar at all?

Is there usually mention of the dinar? There are several governments which hold a great deal, ours likely the most. Most of my information is from people with close contacts to the GOI, parliament, or contractors in Iraq. Would love to know if there is much public information about it.

I am in nearly total ignorance about the dinar Revaluation, as you might get from the opening post. This is because it is not covered by the OCC, the Federal Reserve Board bulletins etc.

My story though, is that I have been getting emails for almost a year and when I realized there are a couple suitors with paper dinars in their safes/mattresses I collected what was in the Deleted Folder and shared, without ever even reading for myself. From the little information I have bothered with on the matter, my thought is that it is likely a scam. That is what little I got from my emails was that the Senders want me to buy up dinars, from them. - All in anticipation of the Revaluation that nobody who is anybody (government) is talking about.

This smacks of the NESARA/Dove of Oneness mythology and White Knight phantom support. But it does seem to me, to be worth probing about with this thread...

I think this sounds like a Bankers' Holiday, in a limited sense.

The other important question (rhetorical, you do not need to say to everybody) is have you been spending money on dinars that are being held (secured) by another party, or are your dinars in your hand, so to speak?

See youtube videos of Shabibi, head of the CBI, filmed by "frothbucket". "Frothbucket" is a respectable young man I've gotten to know a bit, and was aware that he'd gotten himself invited to Shabibi's address when he was in DC in April. Shabibi and Maliki, currently the PM of Iraq, have publicly promised the Iraqi people within the last 6 weeks or so that what we call the "RV", and they call 'removal of the three zeros', will happen 'very soon', or even in Maliki's works 'before the sun goes down'. Euphamism, but telling. For the Iraqi people's sake, this needs to have happened long before now. But it will happen, and the more I learn about it, the more I am convinced of this if I had ever been in doubt.

    Okay...

Like I often say about prophecy - the great thing is time will tell.

Yes, 1000 Iraqi Dinar is currently worth $0.86 USD officially. Perhaps one to three dollars on the street or eBay. Some people think the Iraqi Dinar will soon revalue making your one dollar investment in 1000 dinar worth $3220 to $5250. Sounds crazy. Although something very similar did happen in Kuwait. Some people became rich overnight. The estimates of those invested in this currency run as high as 2 million people.

    BUYING DINAR
If you go to your bank, or Travelex at the airport, to buy dinar they'll likely say "you can't, it's not an officially recognized currency" or even "it's sanctioned, you can't buy it in the US." This is easily disproved, there must be over a dozen sites online to buy it, and if you live near one of these cities you can buy dinar at the mall for about $26 per 25,000 dinar note.

    SCAM or CURRENCY SPECULATION?
There are some places that sell dinar "on reserve" where a small deposit holds your large order until the due date, when full payment is due; many have nothing to show for that "investment." And I suppose if you're buying notes at $26 and pumping the imminent "RV" only to quickly sell at $35, that could be viewed as ... less than ethical.

Some say it's happening June 21-23rd, or perhaps June 30th at the latest. But then again ... these Tues, Wed, Thurs. deadline rumors have been made for years.
