Its a clever and admitted trick to associate 'hatred' with being disgusted by a disgusting behavior. I know have met a number of men who are into homosexual fetishes and there were those who were very kind, warm and good-hearted. I am unaware of ever hating them. I'd say that more than 80% I observed evidenced lack of any moral fiber which would keep them from drugging another man as a sport simply to have the gratification of 'dominating' him (they call it date rape)--my observation is that once a core level of morality was dispensed with, others collapsed. An associate of mine worked for a large retail chain for a region that was run by a 'gay man'. He explained how he had to quit because of the incessant pressure by co-workers to 'turn gay'. He explained that it was like they were pushing a religion on him. This was around 1996. He said they finally made life at his job so miserable that he had to quit for the hatred (i.e. the 'gay male' felt rejected emotionally like girls with broken hearts but also angry over loss of opportunity to willingly bugger him so they set out together against him with hatred). I recall of many encounters were a gay bartender at a restaurant kept advertising his buggery-sodomy interests to me. This man had repeatedly disregarded my rights. After being closed out of the opportunity to willingly bugger me, instead of respecting my rights or liberties or preferences he set against me with hatred.
Salsero I believe has repeatedly made very fine and important points and contribution. However, I am convinced it would be an error to presume with the psychopolitical false brush anything such as hatred. Salsero seems to be making complimentary points rather than conflicting ones. However, the pop spin doesn't fly. This isn't about hating anyone its about preserving the rights of those who lack interest in buggery-sodomy fetishes.
