Well, SSNs can only be issued and assigned to fictitious entities which are created by the corporate/statutory united states, so it's not plausible for a man or woman to ever actually claim ownership of an SSN. It's not even accurate to claim that you have an SSN, because you don't.

The idea in the original post, that having an SSN does not automatically make you property/chattel of the federal corporation, is correct. Our sovereign property rights still exist and they must be asserted carefully, and the terms of all dealings must be clearly understood.
