    Arminius Welcome to the club:

We all want answers, Back to the "Republic" I say.

I am facing getting a 'drivers license', registering a car.

About the car and registering: I care to comprehend the agreements myself?
Because the state has my title Manufacturer's Certificate of Origin (MCO) then sent me a certificate in it?s place; are we now partners?

I want my manufacturers certificate of origin back, is that not a title? http://search.yahoo.com/search;_ylt=...p-qrw-corr-top

About the plates: This gets real tricky because the licensing authority is what might get pulled.

Sometime you have to wonder why there are these kinds of items out there.

    What about the Vehicles?

Vehicles owned by charitable or non-profit organizations, Alaska Native Tribal Village Councils, and church/religious organizations may qualify for a reduced registration fee and "exempt" license plates. Following are the specific requirements to obtain each type of exemption.: http://doa.alaska.gov/dmv/plates/exempt.htm

    The 812 form http://doa.alaska.gov/dmv/forms/pdfs/812.pdf

    the 821 form http://doa.alaska.gov/dmv/forms/pdfs/821.pdf

looks like you need permission for these.

About the SSN: You best consider the SSN like an insurance policy ID#. You have been paying in premiums. The tricky part is utilizing, or rather not utilizing the same sequence of digits for other things and considering (in your head) that it is the same number.

I have a different approach to the SSN, it has my name on it, it belongs to me, I own it, I don?t care who created it, thank you for looking out for me, I?ll take it from here.

Guess there must be different ways: Exception to the SSN requirement:

If you are legally present in the US, but ineligible for an SSN, you are exempt from SSN requirements. However, you must still provide an acceptable birth date/legal presence document for any DL/ID card application OR provide a valid SSN.

    True Full Name

Your true full name appears on your BD/LP document. Etc etc etc: http://www.dmv.ca.gov/pubs/brochures...cts/ffdl05.htm

This document must be issued by a government agency within the United States or a foreign jurisdiction that is authorized to issue such documents. The document must be a legible and unaltered original or certified copy with a government seal, stamp or other official imprint. You will need to surrender your current driver license and/or ID card. http://dmv.ca.gov/dl/dl_info.htm

From a blog: Never looked into it before. Eventually some people stop using it. For example, the FAA used to use it for Pilots identified and are now changing to a different number.

A lot of people need to follow the FAA's lead and of course if you never start using the SSN for ID purposes you never have any troubles from it and never have the expense and hassle of changing to a different system like the FAA is.

"We now issue all original airmen certificates with a unique certificate number. The Airmen Certification Branch no longer assigns your Social Security Number (SSN) as your certificate number. If your certificate uses your SSN as the certificate number we will continue to issue you that number unless you request a unique number." http://board.fulldisclosure.org/priv...ecurity_number
