The Ohio Supreme Court suspended indefinitely the license of attorney Vinh Chi Trieu, who was barred in Ohio but was handling federal immigration cases where he lives in Houston, Texas. Mr. Trieu admitted that he hid his work for six clients from his employer in order to keep more than $20,000 in fees, altered a check, lied to clients about the status of their cases, refused to refund unearned fees in several cases, and secretly took four personal cash advances against a law-firm credit card.
