The international jury found that native children were being raped, tortured and murdered in residential schools across Canada - the majority of which were Catholic-run institutions. When the government was giving payouts for those crimes that they admitted to the natives a few years back there was some interesting issues that happened.
If you went to testify against them while using your government Indian you got paid 15K.

One lady that had to go and testify for her payout had watched some of my friends that a few years before hand battle a judge in court using the stuff that we here are familiar with. The stuff that the sheeple don't know about.
She walked in the court and refused to enter the bar and testified from the back of the court room while standing holding a Canadian flag for 11 hours straight.
She got a payout of one million.
She told her boyfriend she got 15K like the rest of them did.
