    The Gaming Tokens of 1965

    Few might remember or know that Las Vegas casinos originally used regular coinage. In 1964 when the melt value of silver coins exceed that of face value of the silver dollar, it created some very interesting problems for casinos which served to be of the first in a series of events which led to the modern casino chip.
