I am who I say I am, not who the Crown says I am.

Divine Right has not always been a facet of England or Britain its relatively new. In China and Korea and Japan, AFAIK Divine Right has most always been around. However, there its called "Mandate of Heaven".

The "crown" might be the entire collective of those holding the Sovereign Power and in the British system that is to knowledge: the People, Parliament and the King/Queen.
