The Freeman is the flagship publication of the Foundation for Economic Education and one of the oldest and most respected journals of liberty in America. It was founded in 1920, as edited by Albert Jay Nock. FEE acquired it in 1950, four years after Leonard Read founded the institution. For all these years, it has defended the ideals of the free society.

Through its articles, commentaries and book reviews, several generations of Americans have also learned the consequences and contradictions that flow from the illiberal policies of collectivism, interventionism, war and the welfare state.

No other magazine, outlet, or scholarly journal introduces readers to so many implications of what the free society is all about: its moral legitimacy, its tremendous efficiency, and its liberating effects in every area of life. See the Freeman About page for more.

    Jolly good here.
I'm a fan of Albert Jay Nock's writings too.
