US Marshals Make Arrests Over Non-Payment of Student Loans

Note: After this story first broke, damage control efforts went out to make it clear that "he wasn't arrested for not paying his student loan he was arrested for contempt of court". However, that's the same old tactic that has been used for traffic fines. Nothing new. So he was most definitely arrested for not paying the student loan.

Just as the office of dictator is a shadow aspect of the presidency (martial law), law enforcement has always possessed the shadow aspect of being revenue/debt collection agents.

This can easily be seen through such actions of seizures, takings, confiscations, et al.
Let us also not forget traffic tickets.
There is also eminent domain, foreclosures, and condemnation.

Recall gold coin was condemned and seized in 1933 by the federal government.

Perhaps all of this stems from soldiers' tendency to loot and plunder. The laws are mere regulation of this plunder.
