This is a very interesting happening. I noticed just that week that the Knights of Malta assembled themselves in the Square.

I question the validity of the International Tribunal prosecuting the former Pope. Also, I wonder how often lightning strikes St Peter's Dome?

It seems to me that you state the territorial claim for the Knights of Malta in your comment - their monument is the Vatican, which may be under seizure by the Italian government on the 23rd! That number 23 seems to stir a lot of archetypes...

I see the new Vatican Bank head, Ernst von Freyberg, is a member of Knights of Malta:

I find this all very interesting. The Knights of Malta go to the Vatican, 2 days later the Pope says he's resigning, then he nominates one of the Knights to be the head of the Vatican Bank. This all should be a James Bond movie.....follow the money.
