Keep in mind the following maxim of law: Talis non est eadem, nam nullum simile est idem. What is like is not the same, for nothing similar is the same.

Some folks are promoting this idea of the ancient Hebrew practice of debt forgiveness every seventy (70) years. Such as the following quotation from Before Things Get Out Of Hand. However, it has been more than 70 years since the fraud was last purpetrated.

Pope Francis recently announced that an International Year of Jubilee will begin on December 8, 2015---that is, 74 years and one day after Pearl Harbor [i.e. 1941]. This is an Ancient Hebrew practice. Every 70 years all debts were forgiven and those who had lost their ancestral land through indebtedness were allowed to return and reclaim it. [if they were still alive!]
That is a big step in the right direction, however, it is not truly equitable and it does not solve the continuing problem of operating governments as corporations.
I wouldn't put my hopes in such an "iffy" proposition or supposition. Better to use law to achieve remedy.
Maxim of law: "The laws sometimes sleep, but never die."
