Figured it out.
If I don't download but press "listen" instead, I get the controls.
Not sure why, but there are some plug-ins missing in my Mozilla Firefox which won't install, no matter what.

The downloaded file needs to be opened with Window Media Player or a program that is used to listen to audio.

I can't seem to get any controls on this, such as pause, fast forward, stop, etc.
After I downloaded episode #77 and opened it in my browser (Firefox) all I got was the sound, a black screen with the message "waiting for video" and no controls at all.
What am I missing?
